Buy an accessory to fix a specific problem, not because it came up in a bundle. For Meta Quest 3 and 3S, the common ones are comfort and battery life: a head strap that spreads the weight, or a strap with a built-in battery for longer sessions. Wired headphones connect differently on the two headsets: Quest 3S needs a USB-C adapter for 3.5mm headphones. For PlayStation VR2, the earbuds in the box plug into the headset, and Bluetooth headphones won’t pair with a PS5. Older accessories, such as the original PlayStation VR’s headphones and the 3dRudder foot controller, stay in the archive with notes on what still works. Check that each accessory names your exact headset model before you buy.
